LIME project – Labour Integration for Migrants Employment– funded by the European Union -DG Home Affairs-Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), kicked off in Rome on the 21st and 22nd of February 2019. The meeting, organized by Cies onlus, was held in Centro Documentazione e Biblioteca Interculturale of CIES Onlus, in the beautiful portrait of Colosseo, gathered fifteen people coming from Spain and Italy, representatives of 7 partner Organizations: Association des Agences de la Democratie Locale (AADL), Confcooperative – Unione Metropolitana di Roma (CONFCOOP-ROMA), Federacion de Plataformas Sociales Pinardi (PINARDI) Asociacin Guarani de Cooperacion Paraguay Espana (GUARANÍ NGO), Libera Universita Maria SS. Assunta di Roma (LUMSA), Federazione Centro Nazionale Opere Salesiane Formazione Aggiornamento Professionale (CNOS-FAP).
The specific objectives of the meeting were to getting to know each other and reminding about the main project’s objectives and milestones; understanding better the needs, expectations and contributions of each partner organization, identify WP interdependences and establishing responsibilities of the partners and working together for the first time on concrete aspects, namely the timeline, dissemination of results, the monitoring and evaluation process of the activities, training sessions, etc.
After a detailed framework of the project management presentation, made by CIES Coordination Team, the partners prepared detailed work packages breakdown descriptions focused on activities, output and results. At the end of the second and last day, financial management were addressed and how the partners’ budget needs to be used.
The first day concluded with a collective welcoming dinner at our Restaurant Altrove.
